Terms of Service

The service

BellRiva provides AI-powered voice, chat, SMS, and messaging receptionist capabilities for small businesses. Features, limits, and pricing are described on our Pricing page.

Your account

You’re responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your account credentials secure, and for the activity that happens under your account.

Billing

• Monthly and annual plans renew automatically until canceled. Setup fees are one-time.
• The $99 pilot is a one-time charge for a 14-day trial. If you convert to a paid plan, the $99 is credited to your first month.
• Overage minutes are billed at the rate listed on the pricing page and invoiced with your next cycle.
• Cancel anytime for any reason — no long-term contracts. Paid months are non-refundable except where required by law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use BellRiva to send spam, harass, deceive, or violate applicable law — including telemarketing, TCPA, and recording-consent rules in the jurisdictions where you and your customers are located. You’re responsible for the consent disclosures your end customers receive.

Your content

You retain ownership of your business information, call recordings, and chat logs. You grant us a limited license to process that content to deliver and improve the service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance and third-party outages (carriers, AI providers) can occasionally cause downtime.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Termination

You may cancel anytime from your account or by emailing hello@bellriva.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a risk to the service.

Changes

We’ll post updated terms here and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be announced by email.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
